I bought this genny for Burning Man 2011. We will be making use of it to charge Batteries and run Air Conditioning on super hot days! I just set up the genny, some uncomplicated assembly and we were ready to fire it up! Choked, it sounded like I was beating a Tin Can! 100 or so db (db = decibel, a measurement to sound)! Turned off the choke and it really is likely at 80+ db which is a far cry from the 68 db advertised. I am breaking it in for 10 hours or so before heading out there.
